JSM Middle School Winter Camp - Session 1!

Welcome to JSM Middle School Winter Camp 2019!!

With this being weekend number two we can share our Fight Club videos with you so you can really get a feel for our theme this weekend!










As Steve kicked off our first session here at camp he challenged us to determine if we’re going to step into the ring and fight because Satan has declared war against us! But the good news is what God starts inside of us this weekend He has promised to finish!

“Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 1:6)




In order to know where Satan is going to hit us we need to understand temptation - The desire to do something that is wrong or not to do something that we should do…

Satan is always going to hit us in our weakness...He even tried it with JESUS in Matthew chapter 4! But what did Jesus do? He fought back! More specifically, He fought back using SCRIPTURE!

If we want to get through this fight we’ve got to find a way to battle temptation using God’s Word!

Before we went back into more worship Steve challenged us to memorize 
1 Corinthians 10:13:

"No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it."
