Tonight Steve shared with us how important our friendships are. Since the beginning of time God intended for us to do life with other people!

“The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.” (Genesis 2:18)

But the important thing is surrounding ourselves with the RIGHT friends! An awesome of example of “the right friends” can be found in Luke 5 where a group of guys LITERALLY took their sick friend TO Jesus!

Nothing stopped these guys from taking their friend to meet Jesus…They carried him through the streets, cut a hole in the roof and lowered him down into the room where Jesus was!

Are WE the type of friend that will take others to the feet of Jesus? What about the people we surround ourselves with? Are OUR FRIENDS the ones who will take US to the feet Jesus when WE’RE struggling? Or do we choose our friends based on who’s popular and cool? We need to choose a band of sisters or brothers that will enable us to grow closer to Jesus TOGETHER and keep each other accountable!
