Before leading us in worship this morning, Austin took a few minutes to share with us WHY we worship and how we can demonstrate our worship in different ways...
Since we started identifying the darkness in our lives last night, Tracy wanted to share with us this morning about the one thing that can counteract the darkness - Light!
A few thoughts on Light:
~God is Light (1 John1:5) - He created the Light and is therefor the Father of Light!
(James 1:17 and Genesis 1:3-5)
~The Light guides (Exodus 13:21-22, Psalm 119:105) - Light is the greatest guide in the darkness! (1 John 1:5)
~The Light came to us as Jesus! (John1:1-5, John 8:10-12)
~The Light gives us hope! (Revelation 21:23-26)
"The unfolding of Your words gives Light" (Psalm 119:130)
~It shines in this dark world
~It can shine into your dark heart
~It can light your path
~It can give you a hope and a future
~In it, there is no darkness...Only the perfect, unchanging love Light of God!
