JS Spring Retreat 2023 - Session 3
Tonight, we started our session down around the lake...in complete darkness...in silence...
Each small group was spaced out around the lake. As the monologue above played over the speaker echoing across the lake, simultaneously a torch was lit by the leader with each group. And then with that torch they each lit their own little bonfire and all across the lake there was light...We could truly see the power that started as one light spread and dispelled the darkness!
Back inside, Tracy focused on just one verse: "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23)
